Florida KidCare
Florida KidCare is health insurance for eligible children under age 19
who do not have health insurance. Most families pay $15 or $20 per
month per family or nothing at all. Families with incomes above the
eligibility requirements can obtain Florida KidCare health insurance for
their children through the optional buy-in program. A child with a
pre-existing condition may still qualify for Florida KidCare.
Some of the services that Florida KidCare covers include doctor visits,
check-ups & shots, hospitalizations, surgeries, prescriptions, emergencies,
vision & hearing, dental and behavioral health.
